Parks, Recreation and more
Canton Waterfront Park – The site of many events, Canton Waterfront Park is buzzing with activity. Attend an Irish Festival. Pack a picnic and wave to the boats and water taxis that float by. Work on your tan dockside.

Cylburn Arboretum – Comprised of 207 acres, this park is a peaceful oasis in the heart of the city. Originally built as a mansion in 1888 for a Baltimore businessman and his bride, today Cylburn Arboretum offers guided tours and various programs throughout the year. Learn about Maryland's wildflowers as represented in the collection of watercolor paintings in the mansion. Study birds, fossils, minerals, butterflies and more at the Exploration Center. Venture onto the woodland trails throughout the property

Federal
Hill Park –Inner Harbor from this park. Visit the monument dedicated to Major General Samuel Smith, who helped defeat the British in the War of 1812 during an attack on Baltimore. Let your dog frolic in the park. Take the kids to the playground to run off some energy.

Loch
Raven Fishing Center – Spend a tranquil day on this 2,400-acre reservoir. Throw a line out in the hopes of hooking a bass, perch or pike. Paddle your canoe through quiet, calm waters. Rent a boat and pick up a fishing license at the same time.

Rocky
Point Beach & Park – This 375-acre waterfront park offers lovely views of the Chesapeake Bay, Hart-Miller Island and Craighill Lighthouse. Sunbathe on the 300’ beach. Fish for your dinner from the pier. Drop your boat in the water from one of two ramps. Take a sailing lesson from the nearby Baltimore County Sailing Center.

Top of the World
If you're coming to Baltimore make sure to visit the World Trade Center, located in the Inner Harbor. You can take a trip to the top and be on Top of the World, the building's 27th floor observation deck. It's the best view of Baltimore there is.
